James E. Burling Sr., 81 of Conroe TX formerly of Ilion passed away on August 9, 2010 following a brief illness.

Jim is survived by his first wife and mother of his children, Joyce (Crane) Burling of Ilion. He was a loving father to Daniel and his wife Jean, Richard, James Jr. and his wife Jan, Marc and his wife Stephanie, and Denise Harter. Jim also leaves a brother Jack and his wife Berti, a sister Frances as well as many grand and great grand children and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will take place in Conroe, TX on Thursday August 12, 2010. Jim's family request to please omit floral offerings
