Obituary of Frances E. Vinci

Clinton-Otego Frances E. Vinci, 90 of Clinton, formerly of 18 Medallion Dr. in Otego, passed away on Friday November 19, 2010 at the Lutheran Care Community. Frances was born on June 24, 1920 on Staten Island, she earned her Bachelors degree in teaching and was employed as an elementary school teacher in New York City, retiring several years ago. Frances was a member of the St. James Episcopal Church in Oneonta, the garden club and sewing club. Frances is survived by a granddaughter Karen Roos of California, a grandson William Dye of Ilion and her sister Mae LeBrorq of Staten Island. She is pre deceased by two daughters Christine Post and Beverly Dye. In keeping with Frances's wishes there are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday November 23, 2010 at 11:00 am in the Ocean View Cemetery on Staten Island. In Frances's memory friends are asked to consider memorial donations to the Otego Emergency Squad. Arrangements are with the Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home Inc. 100 Otsego St. Ilion New York.
